This allows patients convenience and continuity of care, as most dental services can be available in one office. Even so, your general dentist may refer you to a specialist, for treatment beyond the scope of his/her interest and/or his/her expertise. Most dentists have the best interest of the patient at heart and will therefore recommend the best treatment to their patients.
